Exterior

Inspiration is well laid out and equipped with modern electronics including a fully integrated Raymarine system (Radar, Chartplotter, and below-decks Autopilot mounted directly to steering quadrant). All of the original coachroof winches have been removed in favor of a sleeker profile and easier sail-handling for a shorthanded crew. The main halyard goes to a new self-tailing winch on starboard of mast. The jib and spinnaker halyards are run through a winch installed on the port side of the mast. Setting the autopilot and trimming sails can easily be done single-handed from the middle of the cockpit. Headsails are on a roller-furling system led aft to port. Notice the large Lewmar 55 Self tailing primary winches as well as secondary backup winches (all original).

Original Teak Decks show well (restored with nearly all original screws drilled/filled, and entire decking re-caulked with new bungs, some sections replaced as needed)

Aft-mounted propane grill, convertible sun bimini.

Oversized standing rigging and turnbuckles replaced in 2007.

Mast and boom sanded, sealed, painted in "snow white" in 2007, with all mast fittings removed, inspected, and re-fastened.

Binnacle mounted Raymarine E-80 Color Chartplotter with Radar Overlay and Auto-pilot accessible from cockpit. Anchor switch also accessible from binnacle mount.

Lemmar Anchor Windlass with capstan.
